Why is a girl constantly patching me up?

Recently one of my good friends, (Female, 16) has been patching me up, (Male, 17) when I do dumb shit and hurt myself. Sure, I appreciate it, but I don't know why she's so worried about me constantly.
Is there any reasoning for this?

Likely because she is a good friend. Friends can care about friends. Friends can worry and help. I wouldn't read too much into unless there are other signs that she wants more than a friendship.

Well, being generally flirty or nervous around you. Does she smile a lot? Play with her hair? Fidget? Get shy? Laugh at everything you say? Stare a lot? Is she touchy?

I mean really there are a lot of potential signs. It will vary greatly between people. Those are some examples of how she might act. I would look for overall change in behaviour when she is around you.

Now, that also could mean nothing. Only thing you can do in this situation where you are good friends is ask her if there is something more there. The only problem is you run a big risk of ruining your friendship. Is it worth it?
