Is this broken-hearted girl interested in me?

Hi, suddenly I’m in love with my coworker. She’s in the middle of divorce. From the way she views her life, I can tell that she’s still traumatized and has no interest in dating.
Since I have this feeling, I’ve been giving her more attentions and it’s kinda obvious that I’m into her. At least that what my coworkers told me.
Everytime we work the same shifts, we’re glued to each other. She’ll come to me when she heard that I was looking for her or ignoring her because I was busy.

She always replies to my texts. But she never responds to any of my comments in our coworkers group chat. She DM me instead. When I got busy and ignoring her, she always comes around me. She didn’t flinch when I touched her arm or grabbed her cute hand to show her something. I always respect her so I only do those touching things when she opens up to me, otherwise I would never be in her personal space.
One thing that confuses me, it took her 2 days to reply my texts that sound like we’re in a relationship. It’s been twice she did that and then out of the blue she’d text me wishing me to have a great evening or something similar.
What do you guys think about this? Is she interested in me but still hesitated? I understand that she has a lot on her plate so I don’t want to confess my feeling. Right now I just want to make her happy and back her up at workplace so she will never have any issues at work (while i have the power to do so).

Eh, I wouldn't do it if I were you. Especially since you work together. Unless you don't really care about this job, and potentially ruining it.

Recently divorced, which most likely means, she is not looking for anything serious. And even if she thinks she is, there are most likely still lingering emotions from the previous marriage that will make that difficult.

She is more than likely just lonely and feeling vulnerable. You are the guy giving her attention right now, and she enjoys that at a distance. Could it become something, sure. But in my experience, all of those things together, you are asking for trouble, so if you don't REALLY like this woman, then I would avoid it.

Whatever relationship she has next will most likely be a rebound, her just seeking out some attention until she gets fucked over or gets bored, and then goes to find the "real" guy she wants to date.

So if you do like her, proceed with caution. And be ready to possibly find a new job if it doesn't work out.

You have to just be there as a supportive friend and let them dictate how it goes from there. Even then there will be confused feelings or external forces that make it important to communicate directly and find out what it means to them. Thier will be some issues of trust that will make it important for you not to plauly any games and be genuine and empathetic to how they feel. To clarify what I mean by external forces I mean pressure from family members friends and a false belief that a certain amount of time pass before they get in another relationship.

If she's in the middle of a divorce, she is likely not looking for anything serious as of now. That too, she is a co-worker of yours. I would suggest you to wait until she sorts out her feelings. Give her ample space, and respect her boundaries. She needs to do a lot of self reflection and figure out what she wants to do next.. she may end up using you subconsciously and you will end up getting your heart broken. Just try to be her friend for now. Offer her emotional support (she will definitely be needing that now).

Things are already messy with the divorce. Don't make a move on her for now. Best not to get romantically involved with her until she's in a good place emotionally

Sounds like her messages and behaviour are just polite and you might be misinterpreting them. Your mind wants to believe there is something there that isn't.

For someone in the middle of divorce, I would wait to make any sort of move. That is a messy process and she likely needs time to sort out her life and feelings. Trying to push her might push her away for good.

It sounds like you have a good friend/coworker relationship. You did mention she seems traumatized to date. If that is the feeling, likely she doesn't want to. If me, I would wait.

Most welcome. That is a good attitude to have. If she does have feelings for you, she will act on them when she is ready. Best thing you can do is support her through a tough time like you are doing and be a good friend. Good luck to you both.

Give her space, but continue to offer friendship if you can.

She will have a lot of reflection and processing to do on her time. It can be difficult to do this properly if someone else slides right into the "partner" role and it can be tempting to seek out a replacement to help fill the void.

Do both of you a favour and have a serious check in. Offer support as a friend, but recognize she has a process to go through. Give her that space, and let her do her thing.

You don't want to end up a rebound she realizes she isn't actually interested in. Just be careful, treat this gently, and shelve your partnership ambitions for now.

Then, when she's ready, you can shoot your shot. But doing it now might just lead you to being nothing more than a rebound.

Word of advice: if a woman is just getting out of a relationship, be VERY wary of jumping in too fast. I’d be friends with her for a few months letting her know your interest but be cautious of potentially being just a rebound if you really like her

I think you would need to ask her directly about her feelings if you truly want to know.

Don't fear rejection. Just express yourself and see if she has similar feelings.

If she is interested she's deliberately stalling because she's establishing dominance. She's letting you know she's in the driver's seat. Personally I think you're making a mistake man. Most likely she's damaged and is just exploting your good nature. I would let this one go if I were you.
