Well if you’re gonna blame women for that frame of mind, take a look at the fathers of the girls who behave that way.

Dads are quick to assist in settling the standards for a little girl, like what she should expect from a boy (opening doors, paying on dates, able to care for her, etc), girls aren’t born with those values, they are instilled, by mothers too, to fault. We are only seeing change in gender roles and responsibilities now, because new generations of parents are up to bat. Millennials, even some Gen Z, we are the ones with certain approaches to feminism, gender roles, certain respects to the lgbtq+ community, and in some instances erasing “gender” altogether. But there are still deep-rooted expectations that new parents carry on from their childhood and one of the biggest is how a daughter should both be treated, and the way she could behave.

Because it’s not all women, and yet you are standing idly by, having all those internal feelings of injustice being done, but say nothing. So why not answer your own question? Also, I raise my nephew as a son, since I am his primary caretaker. If he wants an all boys party then cool, but that is me honoring his choice and not fearing repercussions.
