I don't know. I think it differs for each one. Some girls think of themselves as being a 10/10 when they're really more like a 3/10. (Watch plenty of Kevin Samuels videos to see that.)

While some other girls think they're a 3/10 and they're more like an 8/10.

Hell, I got a cousin like that who looks like a model (I say that as a family member; I'm not into gross incest sh*t). She's from the Dutch side of the family and she insists she's a 5 when most guys think she's a legit model despite how modestly she dresses and her being into computers and computer science.

She looks like a nerdy, New Jersey version of Amber Heard, minus the bed-sh*tting and insanity. She seems to deny being physically attractive because I think that she thinks it would devalue her intelligence and personality (which I kind of agree with; attractive people aren't supposed to be smart or multi-talented).

Then, you have some girls who are hideous (including ones here on GAG) who rate themselves as 7s and 8s, and even only do THAT to pretend to be modest (they really think they're 9s and 10s). I know beauty is subjective and all, but there's no way in HELL these women are 9s and 10s. Nappy hair, buckteeth, stoner eyes, bad skin, and everything.

So yeah, the TL;DR is "it depends on the girl."

Some are insecure and downplay their looks, and others are arrogant and think they're hotter than they really are.

No. Women know a higher premium is placed on a woman's attractiveness than a man's. But that doesn't mean their self esteem is any lower than a man's that comes from within. Women just know they can extract compliments from men so they do.
Most women just fake insecurity to fish for compliments from guys.

That is very true. Most of the really pretty girls don't get many compliments. Guys tend to compliment and go out with average girls wayy more. So the pretty girls end up being insecure because of that.

Honestly I don't think I'm as pretty as I'm told I am but that's life things I wish I could change but that's okay I've accepted myself and love myself but I still have a few things I don't love lol

But we do get criticized about our looks all the time, so it makes sense that even some of the prettiest girls would be insecure about something.
