Girls, Ex in relationship but unblocked me on IG?

She unblocked me but her profile is private, in between our last talk ( a year ago) an now I have a sting feeling she got back with her ex but there’s no signs of her being with anyone, so why unblocked me? Is she bored? Is she trying to get me to reach out? I have a feeling she doesn’t the situation she’s in rn. Who knows I’m just curious.

How often do you check in on her? Because if you don’t then who knows when she unblocked you in the past year. If you do check in, then why? Sounds counterproductive to moving on from that person to me...

Reason why I asked that question was because she came across my suggested people on Instagram after a year. I clicked on her profile and it was private so what’s the point

It’s good you haven’t been checking on her then, but if that’s the case then who knows when she deleted you. Your curiosity is coming from thinking that she unblocked you while in a relationship, but there’s no way to know if that’s the case, it’s just an assumption. Anyhow, I wouldn’t bother with putting too much thought into “why”. Only because unless you’re bored or missing her or something then as your ex her actions shouldn’t matter.

I’m more curious because she blocked me over a question I had a few months ago & she just blocked me maybe to avoid answering it, I know there can be a whole complex reason to her unblocking but, I think she’s going threw a hard time & maybe wants to trigger or get a reaction, Also I want to include I’ve changed a lot physically & socially after the break. Maybe she seen my profile i don’t know. I just don’t see why unblocking unless some sort of interest

This is you fishing for an excuse to reach out, and I genuinely don’t mean that in a rude way. You have taken that action, blown it up in your mind and mustering up the courage to contact her and feel justified about it. If it’s in you to contact her, then by all means take the leap and see where it lands you. But this just isn’t enough. She is most likely not going through these hardships you are telling yourself are occurring as a means to check on her, and it isn’t some sort of mind trick on her behalf to get a reaction. Men sometimes like to complicate women’s minds, but we really aren’t that intricate in our thought processes. If I unblock my ex at some point personally, it’s not one of those “I wonder when he will notice and reach out”. It’s just childish and silly, if I want to talk I will be direct. Sure not everyone things like me, but far more do than don’t. Playing devils advocate and she was that woman, why would you want to reopen the door anyhow? Playing those mind games all over again? Doesn’t sound fun to me. I don't know maybe you are feeling lonely or missing her, maybe your love life is a bit stale and you’re missing those old feelings. But you broke up for a reason and ex’s are best left in the past. Don’t let your overthinking or a moment of weakness get the best of you.
