I assume that, by "how she feels", you mean that she is expressing her attraction to him.
My wife expressed how she feels every day by yelling at me. That is not attractive.

Yeah, it usually is, but it can also be uncomfortable or problematic.

So, for instance, if he doesn't have reciprocal feelings or if he was unavailable because 1) he's gay or 2) he has a girlfriend already.

@random_girl95 depends on what she says. Not everything needs to be found attractive when they speak, not everyone interests you for that matter. Although I might hear it out to empathise with her (assuming of course me and her know each other well enough that she is able to talk it out in front of me), be kind and help her, (if she needs it) but that's about it.

@passing_by in the end of the day it's her that has the feelings so she should be the one to make peace with herself and move on. I agree that you should be towards her, otherwise it will hurt her even more than the previous rejection.

@random_girl95 I didn't narrow 'the feeling' down to feeling interest towards me. I took the question in its vagueness as it is. For example she could say 'I feel too sad/bad/happy/hot/cold/excited/disappointed today' etc, may complain too much or go into details of other things, good or bad, which I wouldn't care about unless I feel for her or maybe something else too. Confessing feelings of interest is one of the many things I considered that's why I said 'depends on what she says'. And yes, this specific case will require care and kindness while handling it. I don't see why me or anyone else would be rude. As appreciated as it is that they spoke up, for whatever reasons you feel like not being with them, telling them a 'no' should be done in the most politeness of ways. They're not obliged to handle your rudeness.
