The hot girl complex vs the pretty girl complex?

Am I the only ones that has noticed there is a formula to fit into either one?

For example:

To be a hot girl: always have a sex face on, push out you boobs, wear revealing/ tight clothes, wear a fair amount of make up, ooze confidence (for your body), move slowly and exaggerate your movements to bring attraction to yourself. I find most girls that fit this have bodies that are like a 8/10 to a 10/10 but a face that is from a 3/10 to an 8/10.

To be a pretty girl: usually look somewhat innocent, dress pretty so that means wear things that suit you or dresses, skirts etc.. But all giving the cute look over all, look fresh, young natural looking make up, be naturally pretty if not wear enough make till you look it, carries herself in a more humble manner less desperation for attention. Most girls like this have a body that's a 5/10-10/10 and a face that's a 8/10-10/10

Of course its not exactly like this but from my point of view this is the two types of attractive girls and I always find girls that are just hot girls to pretty much just be a body. What's your opinion these complexes?

I disagree but that's perception I guess, everyone sees people differently.

I think a lot of the times things are combined and not necessarily exclusive categories of people, but I digress.

My opinion is:

1. Being pretty has nothing to do with innocence. I think your definition of pretty is more like "cute." Being pretty is about physical beauty, which many hot girls have. Being cute is about a certain look that may not necessarily be beautiful or pretty, but is attractive for a naive quality, childlike features/personality attraibutes, which is where innocence comes along. Plenty of cute girls are not pretty at all, and tons of pretty girls are not innocent or cute.

And being pretty has nothing to do with being humble, please. lol

2. I think being hot/sexy can be all of what you said and then none of what you said. Some people honestly don't have to try at being sexy, its in their natural way of carrying themselves, their voice, etc. And I think a lot of cute girls wear just as much makeup as hot girls. Most sexy girls I know don't purposely move slowly or exaggerate movements lol I don't think I've ever seen anyone in real life do that in public. That's usually something you do in movies. O.o I think body type and sometimes facial features are key elements in being hot. Some girls just have beautiful curves in all the right places, so of course they'll be seen as hot by a lot of people. For example, if a girl has a rounder butt and bigger boobs with a smaller waist, of course everything she does is going to look more exaggerated/everything she wears is going to look more exaggerated in comparison to a girl who doesn't have a curvy body. That's only natural.

and honestly saying that someone is "just a body" makes you sound like an a**hole, in my opinion. Could just be me, though. If its okay to diminish someone as a person down to "just a body" then its okay to diminish people who aren't attractive at all to "nothing" and "not worth anyones time" because they have neither body nor face, right? That also doesn't sound like a humble thing to say, but again, could just be my perception of things.

I was just talking about this the other day with one of my friends. She was saying how she knows she's not pretty, but she is very hot/sexy because she has a curvy body, hourglass shape, big boobs, rounder butt. She barely wears any makeup by the way. It's sad truth, though, that some guys see her the exact way you would - as "just a body". People suck in general so I'm not really surprised. She's getting over this guy that she caught feelings for recently and found out that he had a girlfriend while he was sleeping with her. His girlfriend is the complete opposite from her, physically. She's really skinny, not many curves, and kind of plain looking in general. So there may be some element of truth in how some guys see these different "types of girls."

It's interesting though.

i don't think the pretty/cute girl you posted was even all that attractive, she looked kinda plain and goofy..i would rather be hot instead

Yes, you're right, overall most fit one of these two patterns. Actually, in the US, we've long said there are good girls and bad girls, basically along the pattern you've suggested. One will sleep with any guy that spends enough money on her, the other is more inclined to wait until marriage...

Of course life is much more complex, most Asian woen for example won't fit into either 'pattern.' But the 'maionstream' women in capitalist culture, this pattern fits them.

Interesting. There are definitely hot girls who aren't pretty girls and pretty girls who aren't hot girls. The BEST though by far, is the small number who are both!
