Why do girls care so much about celebrities?

I don’t get it? They’re not really anything special. Like at all. And if they think of attractive guys, they usually talk about male celebrities as if they’re the only attractive guys out there… If I think about a hot chick, I just think of someone I met before in real life. Just like the rest of us guys.

I think celebrities are safe topics, if you talk about a hot guy at work or school, there could be consequences, such as shame or gossip etc…
