Girls, Why does it seem like more females don’t want a serious thing with a guy. Do girls just weed out guys who want to be in a serious relationship?

Yeah I can’t do friends with benefits that’s not appealing to me. I’ve rejected girls for one night stands. This is what I don’t get, if a girl wants to have hook ups with guys does that mean she will only go after good looking dudes? Because I’m hella confused about one girl I met off tinder from 4 years ago.

We’ve had in depth convos, yes she’s legit but she openly told me she’s not into fuck boys but yet around late 2020 she wanted dick pics from me. She’s like I want to see you hard and properly shaved down there :-s she’s like want my nudes…I said no thanks. I just can’t send that stuff. Eventually she got mad/annoyed by me. She’s not active on social media in terms of uploading pictures or stories.

Which is another thing I don’t get when her mom died she confided to me, she’s like your a sweet, harmless good looking guy. I’ve even talked about how I would be like if I was a dad and how I would treat my kids and she would like my comments regarding that stuff. I haven’t spoken to her since February. Last thing I said to her was hey I haven’t spoken to you in 7 months I just want to make sure you are safe and you’re everything’s good. The next day she replied back with thank you and that’s it. Really in the past one year that’s been our convo. I asked her how she is and all she said was thank you. I don’t know why she hates my guts I didn’t do anything to her.

If it's a hookup I will go after a guy I find attractive but that's by my own standards. What I find attractive, somebody else might not. I'm not gonna just go for somebody I'm not attracted to at all. But as far as hooking up for me it's just about sex. The same way guys go out and pick up a girl at the club because they find them attractive and want to bang. You seem to only want sex with someone you have a deep connection with, which is perfectly fine but I can have sex with no strings and also with someone I have a deep connection with. Just depends on what I'm looking for at that time.

But here’s my thing. This girl is very pretty. She has openly told me she hates the constant barrage of DM’s by guys and fuck boy advances by dudes. Why get mad at me if she claims I only talk to her if she uploads a story about herself being “sexy” when I can hold down convos about politics, religion, entertainment or life. I doubt she’ll come to her senses and realize I was a genuine good dude. I mean I’m a believer in God, I’ll even pray for the well being of others if they don’t talk to me and the same goes for her. But one thing I can’t stand are people who can’t be honest.

I think it depends on the age range you're looking at. Older girls are more likely to be looking for a commitment. But it could also just be an individual thing. I feel like a lot of girls feel like a lot of guys aren't actually looking for a relationship so they distance themselves naturally. I know girls who are in their late 20s who still want to party, gawk over hot guys on social media and want to sext/send dick pics. I've been using GAG for a few years now and I get tired of the blanket statements by girls posting questions such as "why are all guys scared of commitment issues". Yeah, you said yourself, girls and guys both have this "whatever, fuck it" approach and "distance" themselves. Doesn't make it right. This is what I don't get about society.

From a guy's perspective, girls and women today, even the biggest narcissists will say "my social circle of friends is small". Ok, but why do people seek so much validation from strangers on social media and in person? If that social circle around some one is apparently "small", then choose those friends wisely. I've weeded out guy friends from my life who only cared about doing drugs, partying, having sex with different chicks... I'm not about that life. If a girl naturally tells herself, I want my social circle to be small, why is she acting like a dude and wants to fuck around with multiple dudes? That same girl will eventually get annoyed by guys saying she looks so beautiful, sending unsolicited dick pics and etc.

But then that same girl will fawn over "hot guys" online. We live in a superficial, delusional era. That's why I'm single. Because girls nowadays are either petrified of dating of past experiences or just want or yeah maybe they just plain hate my fucking guts... I don't know. To end this reply back -- I don't party, I don't drink, I don't do drugs, I am still a virgin, I have had numerous attractive girls ask me to mess around or have one night stands with them but I never bothered. Currently, I am saving money for my own place in the city, I work, I am in grad school, I cook good food, I am decent looking and in shape.

Now you may be thinking, "maybe you don't understand girls well enough", "maybe you're too shy", "maybe you seem too needy"? I have 3 older sisters so I understand how girls act, I am not shy; I can go up to a girl and talk to her, I know when to girl a girl space and let her be and let her call me if she has to. End of the day there is no such thing as a perfect guy. The dude with a high school diploma, slicks his hair back and wears a leather jacket with a bad boy persona is not better than me because I used to beat myself up and assume the other dude is. I also understand she may not physically like you at all. But again, I find beauty in many girls so I won't be rude that way. If girls think i'm a loser, unloyal, a fuck boy, a piece of shit... I guess I have to take a bow. Trust me, I am not a bitter, sexist, simp dude. I don't wish bad on any of the girls who ghosted me, blocked me, rejected me... I hope those girls are happy in their lives and I mean that.
