Am I overthinking this?

So this girl im going to talk about is my college friend. From past few days i have noticed that she keeps walking in front of me, not really in front but she is always walking faster than i am and not beside me or with me. Other weird thing is that she does it in college campus like we are walking in corriders. She always walks beside me when we are not in campus. It kinda feels like she doesn't want to be seen with me or feels like she embarrassed to walk with me. Im not ugly guy but an average looking one. By the way we dont have feelings for each other we just hangout as friends. It is really bothering me. Has anyone ever experienced this before?

You are overthinking the entire situation.

It does seem as if she does not want to be associated with you in confined spaces such as a corridor. There can be multiple reasons for that behavior.

Best is to ask her why she acts the way she does. You are friends since college and therefore, I don't think you are shy to talk to her. Explain that it disturbs you that she does not want to be seen in your company within the premises of the school and ask her for her reasons.

Of course, she will deny it but at least you have done your part and asked. Perhaps she will not walk faster and avoid your direct presence once you asked her.

This Honestly is a little weird.. It could be that she's doing it subconsciously though? Maybe bring it up to her & see what her response is? I am an overthinker so ik that sometimes people do things without even thinking about it twice cause they dont have any ill meaning by doing or what they are, & i in turn then overthink the situation & make it a terrible thing for myself.
