If you were at work and girl asks you “why don’t you talk to me” would you think she wants you to move to her?

I was standing in work and a female colleague came up to me and asked me this question. I told her I just go to work to get paid and I don’t come to work to make friends. I later overheard her saying “it’s okay if you don’t like me.” Also before I saw her staring at me when I was speaking to the male workers. We made eye contact and she said “what did you say?” Even though I wasn’t speaking to her.

Yes, I would. At least be friendly even if you don't want to see her outside work.

Why though lol. She doesn’t speak to every guy at work. Feels like she was singling me out.

U feel that because u are only able to speak for yourself u don't know all the people she speaks to at work and if others ignore her the qay u do

She said “I always see you laughing and joking with the guys but you don’t talk to me.” Not ignoring her when she says hello I say hi back. I just don’t initiate convo with her and other girls at work. You can guess why.
