Why would a girl ask you what do you do for work , and you tell her , and then she ghosts you?

I actually have a decent paying job as a manager so why would a girl ghost me after I told her what I do for work? Was I supposed to be a millionaire?

She obviously has a very specific set of standards and your job (and maybe your perceived income?) didn't meet them.

I wouldn't worry about it. That's her problem, not yours. Just go find someone who appreciates, or at least tolerates, your job.

This question really peaked my interest. I really never knew what the guy I'm dating now did for a living when I first started dating him, because I never asked him, I only knew he worked in the federal building next to the hospital I work in. Then, after I was already falling for him, he told me he was in federal law enforcement. Not that that's a bad thing but as a woman, I don't need the stress of worrying about the man I love going to work. I accept his job now but if I knew what his job was earlier, I honestly don't know if I would have continued seeing him 😞 I'm glad I did! Is your job dangerous? Or does it take you away from home a lot?

Not at all , I work in a corporate office setting working 8 hour shifts my job previous to this one was considered dangerous , but knock on wood I never had any problems , , So her ghosting me was weird to be honest

She probably expected something more prestigious or high paying. a lot of women have that mindset today. Most marry for money and not love and sometimes they date for money , take your money then cheat on you with the guy they actually love and then feed him with the money you gave them.

Is it traveling job? A job that might not correspond with her needs? Especially if you start a family. Just because you make a lot of money, doesn't mean you're gonna fulfill her needs. If you travel a lot to make money, might not be what she's looking for. She may want a significant other that's present in her and possibly your children's life

When I had a profile on Facebook dating a few years ago, I was getting bombarded with Chinese women who to wanted to become American citizens. The first thing they asked after introducing ourselves was always "what's your career?" I would tell them I'm a door man at a bar and they would just stop messaging me right away

You know, the low level minion that they call an office manager who stocks all the supplies, makes copies, passes out the mail, etc. Just keep telling women you work in an office and don't get paid much. Most jobs now have the ability to pay as well as all others. The only real exception is celebrity status. Being successful in social media even tops athletes, acting, and musicians. I doubt your paycheck had any influence.
