Would this be a reason you would keep ghosting a girl?

I had been talking to this guy for a while up until last week when he ghosted me. He had done that before a previous time and came back, he said it was because he was going through so much with his bm taking his son away from him. After he came back that time, he and I got more serious. We got a lot closer and we even talked about our future together and us starting a family and having a baby together and he said he would love my daughter as his own. He was supposed to meet my family and my daughter. He was supposed to meet her last Monday then all of the sudden he just stopped replying that day in the morning. I texted him asking if everything was okay but I never heard back and I haven’t heard from him since. I know he had court for the custody of his son and a lot of other things he had to deal with. I guess my question is, would all of this be a reason you would ghost a girl or do you think he just wasn’t as interested as he said?

With everything going on with custody, is it possible something related to that came up and that is why he didn't respond? How long has it been since you heard from him?

I haven’t heard from him since the day he was supposed to meet my daughter, last Monday.

Oh wow. Yeah, that is a long time. I thought maybe this just happened and it had been a day or something. I haven't a clue why he would do that other than cold feet meeting your family and child.

How long were you two talking? Maybe he had every intention but then kept getting nervous it was moving too quick.

We had been talking 4 almost 5 months. Our connection was really something so different. We both agreed on that, and he had said it was sort of scary for him to have feelings for me the way he did because he hadn’t felt that way in so long. He said he was ready but I guess not. It’s not good for me to keep wondering though so I’ll let it be.
