I ended my 10 month situationship by ghosting him and he keeps coming back but not in the way I hoped?

I ghosted him about 2 weeks ago because he was wasn’t treating me right and every time I brought it up he wouldn’t listen and make jokes so the only way was to ghost him. he FaceTime me with all his friends asking to go in a double date with me this other girl and his friend after 2 weeks of not speaking. After the call he’s like I’ll probably call you when I get home and never calls. I just do not understand why he texts me and reaches out for no reason it drives me crazy and it just makes me feel like he thinks I’m a joke. Also I deleted my insta pictures about 3 days ago and he noticed and texted me and told me to put them back up and at this time we were still not talking.
