Guys, would you walk a female coworker to her car if she asked you to?

When I leave work it's already dark outside and unfortunately I often have to walk for 5-10 minutes to get to my car. It scares me to walk alone to be honest so I'd like to ask my coworker if it's okay when he walks me to my car. But I'm just afraid he could think that it's selfish of me if I ask him.

If you work at a huge company they should have a shuttle that takes you close to your car or home.

Absolutely not. That's 5-10 minutes where there's no witnesses and she can cook up whatever false accusations she wants. Nope, not playing that game.

Yes I would. Call me old fashion, but I believe a man has an obligation to ensure than any female he encounters is safe, whether its family, friend, co worker or a stranger needing help. More than once I have offered to help someone to their car late at night from the grocery store. Usually being in uniform probably helps them trust me.
