I don't see how having sex in the past invalidates an "I love you" with someone you're with in the present. I'm with that person because I like them and trust them. Them having a sexual past doesn't mean they can't love you?

I dont understand the him touching me being "unique". I'm me. I'm not the same as his ex and i have different reactions to being touched. So he is not touching me "the same way" as I am not every other woman. Not like it matters anyways.

If these are YOUR thoughts when you're with someone, you're very obviously with the wrong person. Their past is their past. Why would I care about what my husband did before me? It doesn't affect me in any way. Generally speaking, if the one you're with is comparing you to someone from their past, they should only be with you if that comparison is favorable to you! nope not at all. i don't think people tend to compare their partners to their exes or think of other people in intimate moments. and if they do it's either because the relationship is already unstable or because they probably are overall unfaithful. both are things that can and will destroy relationships no matter the sexual past of either one of the partners

- includes sleep around
- doesn't include wanting someone who doesn't sleep around.
