Talked for 2 years then suddenly stopped?

I'm in high school, about to enter my junior year. This girl I knew texted me everyday for nearly 2 years since middle school, people said she may have even "liked" me though that was never established by her. After fall of this year she just stopped, she usually texted me about nearly anything, but after fall she stopped and when I messaged her it felt more cold and less receptive. She doesn't act differently in school so I assumed she's just busy but nearing the end of the year she still doesn't seem to care much. I'm sure it's a high possiblity she just no longer cares for me but does it seem she did ever like me or may even be willing to message again? It's a lot of speculation, even for people writing so I don't expect direct answers.

Been there. People change. Especially during highschool. Best you can do is talk to her. And I mean talk, not text. She could be going through some shit and she's distancing herself because of it. For example, when I was your age and in the same situation, it turned out she was raped. Throw in a cancer diagnosis for her dad and she was mentally spiraling. Not saying for sure that she's recently suffered some trauma, but be aware that she could have a lot going on
