Tell her to sit down and seriously ask herself this question: "what makes video games for kids, and not adults?" She won't be able to answer it because there is literally no real reason to think this. For most video games, the target audience is adults, NOT children.
Video games have come a long way and aren't just violent shoot/beat people up games anymore, games tell beautiful stories, that you, the player, have a part in.
Video games can become a problem, if you develope an addiction and it affects your income, relationship, etc- but the same can be said about Netflix, watching tv, scrolling through Instagram, using GAG, etc.
Basically, tell her to eat a dick, lol.
She has the the right to have this opinion, but i doubt she ever played a videogame in her life.
I think she’s missing out. But that makes me sad.. cause based on that I’m assuming she’s one of those people who think adults can’t have fun anymore or like “childish” things. She probably put down her dolls and stopped playing with them just cause she felt like she had to. I say it’s harmless and a great hobby to have. Idc how old I am I will collect stuffed animals, and play videos games, and whatever as long as it makes me happy to do so
There is nothing wrong with playing videos games, as long as it doesn’t get in the way of your responsibilities.
