Why are women today so oversexed today? Is it societal expectations or is it a conscious choice?

I'm not suggesting women repress feelings! I'm not. I just confused by the double message on G@G from women that says " respect me"! All the while conducting themselves in a manner undeserving of respect.

OK, but I wasn't asking about how much sex people were having in the past vs. now. I was more talking about displays and everything it involved rather than the actual act.
