Why would a girl only have a proper conversation with me when I'm alone?

Everytime I'm with my friend she barely says hello to me. But when I'm alone she will have an in depth conversation with me

I have problems with caring about what people think. So I’m way better at having a one on one conversation when I’m alone with someone because it doesn’t feel as if everyone is listening to me and the person or watching. Your friend could just be the same way

She started off by giving me a big smile and wave even when we never had spoken before. Just getting overly excited to see someone she didn't know. Then we started chatting and it was like we just knew each other, conversation so easy.

She asks me questions like where i live, where I grew up, she took note of where I work as she knew where I worked. She even accepted my friend request when I'm just a customer
