How come she's never drunk?

She drinks as much as me, if not more. And yet I've never seen her drunk - I stumbled onto the chair and crashed it.
She just sat and smiled, asked why I drink so much because in her opinion I'm not cut for it. I find it admirable that she's never drunk - that's real power, real control.

Some people have quicker livers. A fast and effective liver can get through alcohol quicker, and some people with really fast ones don’t even get drunk. I don’t understand any science behind it or if it really has to do with liver speed or whatever but the liver can greatly influence it.

Some people just have higher tolerance and/or handle it differently. My ex could be absolutely blackout drunk and other than being a bit chatty you’d never have a clue. Whereas me I’ll lose the ability to walk and/or speak long before I lose memory

She’s probably very used to drinking…either from drinking often or because she’s been drinking for a very long time.

She's been drinking since she's 18, and she's older than me.
