Crush becomes distant after a hangout, what does this mean?

Hello, so I had a hangout with my crush, it lasted almost a whole day, but after, she became more distant, and taking longer to reply to messages. Why is that? She did like the hangout though.

There are two possible scenario for this:
1. The girl likes you but is worried that she might overdo it or show too much eagerness that she had fun in your "Hangout" as she does not want to look too simple and an easy catch.
2. The girl figures out that she does not like you based on your "Hangout" and wants to put distance on you since she is no longer interested. Might be she saw something that turns her off or you said something that she did not liked.

I see, thank you, also she didn't completely shut me off, she just takes a bit longer to respond. She got more intimate near the end of the hangout. I hope it's the 1st scenario though. We have had other hangouts before but this was the longest one so far.

Ask her why that is happening. If you don't get a straight answer and this continues, than your hunch is probably correct.

I found out that it's because she's busy with exams, I am as well but she's sometimes active without responding and inactive after

Really? Also I forgot to mention that near the end she got more intimate with me so would that change the answer

OK. I'm about 95% sure she knows how you feel about her and as you say she took things to the next level the last time you got together. I see in another response you say she's "busy" with whatever, yeah that's nice but does it explain why she's "active WITHOUT responding and inactive after?" Have you heard the old saying that goes something like, A girl can have all sorts of shit going on but if she's interested, she'll MAKE TIME TO TALK TO YOU! How long would it have taken her to acknowledge you and let you know she can't talk right now? You can chase her if you want but I wouldn't cause it usually isn't worth it. In a nutshell she took you for a test drive and left the lot... without you!
