Because of genetics. We are all shadows cast by the choices of our ancestors, and black women that had bigger butts were more likely to reproduce than those who had smaller butts, and so the trait was passed on through natural selection. As we are a two parent species, traits present in one parent can present in same or opposite sex offspring, such as the male children of a woman who has a big butt.
