Why didn't this girl offer to add me to the group chat?

I was talking to this girl that I really like, and she said about the group chat that nearly everyone in the class is in, except me. She asked if I was in the chat, and I said "No, I don't think people really want me in it anyway. No one added me, two other people in the class have it, but I'm not it in no, I would join it but I don't think anyone really likes me anyway."

Didn't get much of a response to that except saying I am not disliked to the class. Why didn't she add me though, or offer to add me? We get on well and everything, there's no issue between us at all, so why wasn't I offered to be added?

Does that mean she just dislikes me overall? I know she doesn't feel the same way I do, but I don't want her to dislike or hate me. It just plays with me that she made no effort to add me to the chat, or to get one of her friends to add me.

With the way you were reacting she probably thought there would've been a problem with asking or adding you in, so ask next time and make it clear that you don't mind being in group chat this isn't that big of a deal in general bro if I'm being honest with you.

Maybe she didn't want you to react badly if she would've added you without knowing.
