You might be more "in love" with the idea of him, more than the person he is (being you don't really know him do you?). That might be something to really think about, yes you have a crush on him, but what do you really love about him? I think (as with many women sometimes), you've built him and the idea of him up in your mind, and that's what you're in love with?
