In your opinion whats more manipulative , a man who uses pick up tactics to appear more confident than he really is or a woman who uses makeup to appear more attractive than she really is?

My vote goes for women, let's face it women without makeup all look 5/10🤷

I'm not a fan of fakers of any type... but the makeup thing... it just strikes me a little more annoying than someone who brushes up on their salesman tactics. It might not be as egregious as say a transexual tricking a dude, but yeah it's right up there with that without a surprise weiner. It's like congratulations, you can trick a guy. All the PUA stuff is pretty annoying to watch as well... I'm just going to come out and say it, the people that fall for either are the most annoying people of them all.

1. The art of makeup is hard. You're a man, you've never used it, you don't know the price of decent cosmetic product or how difficult is an eyeliner stroke. If she learnt it from a less than helpful pinterest tutorial, kudos to het for applying it irl!

2. It depends where the men has learnt the pickup tactics from for it to be of any use. Forums and books are so theoretical they're useless. If he learnt from a fellow classmate or something, kudos for him to successfully applying it irl!

Women are beautiful with or without make up, and most women aren't putting make up on to please men, so it's not manipulative in all cases

Neither are manipulative lmao. Makeup is like earrings. Its pretty and a good thing in my opinion, a bonus. If you are really ugly and somehow manage to change completely with makeup, I wouldn't say its manipulative. And pickup lines to seem more confident? How can you be confident to appear more confident.

nvm looked it up I didn't realize what a pick up tactic was. I thought you meant just picking someone up confidently even if you dont feel confident. but if what google says is right, then thats manipulating someones feelings to make them more easy to pick up. nasty

I just know us men manipulate, to point of promising anything - the men I've known, I tried avoiding lies, but also resorted to it, when other methods failed. Not always but...
