Is this a toxic friendship and should I distance myself?

So in the last year or so I decided to make a change and go to the gym and change my lifestyle and diet. I’ve lost two stone and feel better about myself. Recently, a friend of mine discovered i've been going to the gym and when i told her she joined the same gym and we sometimes workout together. My friend prefers to take classes at the gym whereas I prefer to do cardio, like running and weight training. First of all she seemed very interested in my gym routine and what I was doing, how much exercise I do a week etc and what exactly my routine was

Now I feel like she’s mocking me and I’ve noticed she starts making sarcastic comments about how often I go to the gym and says that I make the gym my “home”, which I feel is unfair as I have a life outside the gym, I go to college and I keep up a social life too and I don’t spend all my time here. Then when I’m not at the gym, my friend will text me and tell me what a great workout she’s done in a new class and how tired she is and how much she’s loving the gym and how addicted she is. I’ve also noticed that when we workout together she will make comments like “I go to this place to get my cellulite massaged and you need to go too”. I wasn’t even aware I had cellulite and I am pretty happy with my body. Since this has happened, I’ve noticed a decrease in my confidence. I used to go to the gym and it was my safe haven away from work but now I just dread it because she is there to make me feel like rubbish. Sometimes when we are working out she will randomly snap at me in anger out of nowhere and she did it when we went swimming together she snapped “how do you swim like that!”
