Why did she go cold?

The first few days she gave me hints he wanted to walk. We had light interactions and talks. Then we locked eyes sitting a good distance from each other, so I approached her to make conversation.

Everything seemed good. She had a bright smile. She laughed. And seemed interested by asking questions about me.

But then went cold. She greets me like I’m whatever. Is it because I expressed too much interest when we talked?

It’s may not be entirely her. I showed strong interest them reeled my interest, not because I don’t like her. More, to test her.

She draws me with smiles and eyes contact, but I initiate most of the interactions, and I simply pulled back a little hoping she would initiate a little herself. I don’t want to blindly chase a cute smile because I’ve been in too many one-sides relationships/friendships.

There’s this other girl I talk to. Engaging with her feels natural even if the strong attraction isn’t there. She’ll start conversations, be playful without me feeling like I’m chasing her.

The girl I like gets a lot of attention. She’ll give guys half-ass attention and they’ll chase her, but I’m experienced my fare share of disappointments to know that’s not worth it.
