Should I keep using this Nickname for a girl?

So there is a girl I know that I have a huge crush on. I'm trying to be discrete about it due to environmental factors, but I really want to find ways to display my affection.

One thing I have thought of is using a nickname for her. by the way this was a name we came up with in a group, and she suggested it, it's not like I am just giving her a pet name. Anyway, she said I should go by X and we laughed and moved on. However at the end of the day as she was leaving I called out, "See you later X", and she let out this adorable giggle. She was walking away at this point so I assume she was smiling but I can't confirm.

After, another female friend with me replied "oh she liked that" and kind of snickered (she knows I have feelings for this girl). So my question is this, do you think she liked it, should I keep using this nickname, and if so should I do it often or sparingly?

Yea she likes it, but I would say not to mutt it so you don't ruin it, so don't say it unless you have to call her name, use it every once in a while and switch up her name and nickname and basically make it unpredictable when you are going to use it, or use it only in the friends group or something
