No! But I do swim in the toilet! Jk. No! I do not pee in the pool, I’ve always been paranoid of that, ever since I was told that some pools have a chemical in them which turns urine DARK BLUE, so everyone can tell who peed in the pool! It’s probably just an urban myth, but it still put the fear of god in me when it comes to peeing in pools!

That's an old joke that got side tracked into urban legend.

How it's supposed to work is someone tells you that there's the chemical in pools changes colour when you pee.
Someone dumb says "no there isn't"
And the joke teller then spends time breaking down why the pool pisser is disgusting.

Except it doesn't work, because folk had either heard it before or they're too embarrassed to admit they piss in pools. Result it hangs there and takes on the heir of a fact. And then it gets passed on as a fact until folk believe it.

Truth is they're not allowed to add more chemicals than necessary into a pool as you'd have to get all kinds of clearance that it won't blind folk, cause skin irritation or any other medical complaint etc

@Bee-Hatch Like I said, whether it was true or not, it put the fear of god in me, so I just never did it! Now, I don’t think I could pee in a pool if I tried! Besides THAT is what the ocean is for! I’m always amazed by guys who see that we have to pee like every hour or so, but somehow we can spend a day at the beach, no bathroom in sight, and we’re totally fine, but are shocked that we admit to peeing in the ocean! 🤣 I do however make sure to pull my bikini bottom to the side, I mean have you SEEN the price of a decent bikini? Would you pee through what’s basically a $150. pair of undies? LOL 😂

You'll find most women who are pregnant that swim if being totally honest have done it. The effort of getting out just to go pee just isn't worth it.

Yeah my family used to tell me and my sister to, but only in our private backyard pool. It started when i was a little kid, they probably didn't want to have to get out of the pool with me and dry me off to go to the toilet so they said just pee in the pool. My bff's family say the same thing because her mom doesn't want us to get water or grass in the house. I never do it in public pools though
