Do you pee when you are in a swimming pool?

Only when I was little and quite a few of us peed in the duck pond we swam in at the park. Once we got the pool installed in our yard and we were told that if anybody did, the water would turn black so, as far as we know, nobody ever peed in that pool.
However, at camp, we had a creek running right past the front yard and at least once, I not only peed in the creek but also took a shit in it. Just stay in the deep part, pull down my bathing suit, let the turds escape and watch it float downstream.
