He’s not even my boyfriend.

How long are we talking about here? The time? If it’s more than a few days then I could see why anyone could get upset.

Well... the guys who do care about that kind of thing are bothered because they see timely responses as a respect thing.

Even if they themselves sometimes reply late?

So many guys would still get mad at girl for nit replying to them quickly enough? To get her respect what would guy then do next in those situations?

Probably feels like a waste of time

What feels waste of time? And why?
May be he's just aggressive

Not all get angry. And not always.

We’ve mainly communicated on whatsapp. One time he sent me a text 1pm. I replied to him almost 12h later. Then he replied to that message almost 2 days later saying sorry I didn’t get push notification and didn’t check whatsapp ( I feel like he just got mad and wanted to get back at me or something) - Asker1 y
Then another time he left my text on delivered for 6 days after it took me 23 hours to open his text.
He probably saw that I was online on whatsapp when I didn’t open his message (his message wasn’t a question and didn’t require a reply). I open it and replied to him after 11pm when I got home.
Do you think he’s mad about that and got his feelings hurt? - 1 y
Not necessarily mad but maybe upset about all this.
- Asker1 y
Upset about what?
- 1 y
About all this delayed reply or messaging back.
- 1 y
It's a small thing tho, I wouldn't get mad about this but I would be a bit upset. I find more frustrating when he/she lets you on "seen".
- Asker1 y
He was on delivered. After that he left my text delivered for 6 days until I deleted it. Do you think I did the right thing when I deleted the message? :D
- 1 y
You did the right thing deleting it. I went through the same thing and the frustration of waiting made me delete it.
- Asker1 y
How do you think he felt when he saw that I deleted the message?
- 1 y
Did he said something after you deleted that message?
- Asker1 y
No he didn’t
- 1 y
He could've said something, anything... in the end I guess he was upset and decided to do nothing. Maybe he waiting for you to say something.

Damn egos...
- Asker1 y
Say what like ” why are you ignoring me” :D
- 1 y
Why not, it was just between you and him.
- Asker1 y
That would be desperate …
- 1 y
See, it's the ego. Sometimes we should let it aside. I know cause I do these things and I'm sorry after and I'm questioning myself "what if" this, "what if" that. In the end we're getting nowhere.
- Asker1 y
I would do that if I knew if he’s just upset or because he doesn’t want to talk to me anymore…
- 1 y
Yeah but neither you or I cannot know what's in his mind.
- Asker1 y
Which do you think is probably more likely?
- 1 y
I can only go guessing so I assume he let the ego "speak" for him. That's why he said nothing after the deletion. It's a lack of reaction.
- Asker1 y
What does his ” lack of reaction.” show? That he doesn’t care?
- 1 y
Could be this, or could be that "would be desperate". Although it's not always seen like a sign of weakness.
- Asker1 y
I decided not to send him any message after I deleted the message. I feel like if he wants to continue to chat he can reach out to me.
- 1 y
You decided well.
- Asker1 y
If he got upset by my late reply does it show that he has feelings?
- 1 y
Yes it does. Although if he has feelings, he can't stay upset for long.
- Asker1 y
How long can a guy stay upset if he has feelings?
- 1 y
I think that no more than a week cause it's going eating back his heart.
