Do girls get mad at guys for replying late?

Question

So I was texting back and forth with my crush but she suddenly stopped replying so I went outside and drove to somewhere. She replied after around 30 minutes but since I was driving I didn't notice her message until 2 hours later. When I finally replied her her messages were very cold and short, as if she was mad at me. I asked her if she's mad she said 'Mm no'. I didn't reply after that then she sent me another text 'Why do you think I'm mad?' followed by a 'I'm going to bed see ya'.

Overall, girls tend to overanalyze things, ESPECIALLY when it is social-related. That's just how it is. Personally, I think this is just petty and kinda trivial because we all have lives outside of the realm of texting (hopefully). I mean, I'm not going to stop dead cold while enjoying my pizza just to text back one of my guy friends. Though it might seem silly to you, the next time you see her I'd just casually being up that you were driving. Plus, you can remind her that it's illegal to text and drive 😉

She probably got sad, and thought like u didn't reply cuz u had better stuff to do or something.'
I can get like that sometimes and that only tells me that I'm really into this guy If I'm waiting by the phone for his text.

Just tell her that u are sorry for replying late and that you were driving or whatever you are up to. Just explain and she'll feel better.

You could apologize for making her mad and offer to buy her coffee or lunch to make it up to her :P (this can be an excuse to hang out with her as well)
