Do you think the rate at which women can't admit when they're wrong decreases with age?

I believe it does decrease for guys, but I am not so sure about women. I think there's this idea, at least in the western world, that says "the women are always right." "Happy wife, happy life."

What do you think when you see your relationship or your parents or elders? I'm genuinely curious.

If I understand the question correctly, women get more defensive as they get older, rarely admitting that they are wrong (even when they are) and usually finding someone else (like their spouse) to blame.

I'm saying women can't admit when they're wrong when they're young, and I'm asking if women start to let go of their pride and admit they're wrong. I guess you're telling me that you think it's even worse as they get older?

Yep... it gets worse as they age... at least that's my experience

I'm guessing they have less to lose as they get older. When they're young, they often try to compromise because they're trying to "catch" a guy and establish a long-term relationship. When they're older, they've already done that.

How do I deal with it? As we get older, we get thicker skin. Basically, I ignore most of it, no reason to take it personal.

I definitely have seen myself getting tougher skin throughout the years. I do wonder though if you've had any absolutely insane encounters because I'm wondering, how would you handle it if she says something absolutely ludicrous, awfully terrible and detrimental?

With age people in general become more mature and less childish.
