I over heard my managers manager say that she was going to lie about me to her senior manager at work?

Why would she do this and why would I ever be part of a conversation, I only speak to her when she requests this and if she walking towards me I turn and walk away. She gossips and I don’t like to be around people like that. I’ve spoken to her maybe 4 times in the last 18months
