Girls, My girlfriend is backpacking and won't contact me nor wants me to contact her, wants back to basic but is still online after day 4. What to do?

We've been together now for 4 months. It's been her life long dream to go backpacking without phone nor internet. She did take her phone with her for emergencies but was going off-line during the trip. She said she won't be contacting me nor wants me to contact her because she wants to re-discover herself and be in contact with nature. But i can still see her online on FB and whatssapp (no stalking but i miss her and re-read some off our convo's) Is this normal behaviour from her?

No, that is definitely not a normal behavior.

If she says that she wants to be off-line for the entire backpacking trip but then goes online to check her social media, then it is obviously not to make emergency calls. To me, she is pulling your leg with her argument and there is something else that is very disturbing.

I have the feeling that she wants a time off from you and gave this phony excuse that she wants to be off-line. If you want to be off-line, then it is not selective.

Her behavior leads me to believe that she is slowly moving away from you and her backpacking trip was just an excuse.

well that sucks, i was thinking that maybe she was planning the rest of her trip or maybe talking with some friends to meet up (she did talk about meeting up with some of her girl friends that she hasn't seen in a long time) guess we'll see what happens when she gets back i guess
