Girls, Is it generally normal for girls to only take 2 or 3 emergency tampons on holiday if they’re not expecting their period instead of a whole box?

Tampons are very absorbent so 2 - 3 should probably be enough since you can wear one for a few hours. I'd just take the whole box though to feel reassured.

You should always prepare in case they are out of stock. I had it happen to females at my hotel who wanted pads and tampons from me.
