How do I make a woman I cold approached feel safe enough with me to go on a date?

I’m fighting a little bit of a losing battle here. Im kinda a scary person cuz I dress super goth and edgy and have a weird distant personality. How do I get women to trust me more? Cuz it seems like most women are scared of me or something.

It starts with you my friend. Do you trust yourself? You already stated that you see yourself as quite of a scary person. I'd suggest working on that part of you before attempting to grow closer to another. Until you can learn to love yourself in a way where you won't describe yourself as scary, you can't honestly expect a woman who doesn't know you to feel secure around you.

Yeah, cold opens aren't your friend. If a weird guy in a black trench coat and eyeliner wanders up to a girl in public and says "hey" she'll be about 85% she's about to be murdered.

Cold opens kinda suck for everyone, honestly. Like you're a girl trying to buy some milk and plastic forks... and a dude walks up and whatever he says she basically hears "Hey, couldn't help but notice you're around my age and hot. Would you care for my penis inside of you?" That's probably not gonna fly. She'll mumble an excuse and leave you standing there like an asshole.

You gotta get into a community so they can get to know you better. I don't know, the local concert scene? Tabletop roleplaying?

why dont you just attend goth events and approach goth women? i dont think that you should be standing outside of a lululemon trying to convince women to like you
