I met this girl a few weeks ago while walking my dog in the neighborhood. She was getting in her car with her daughter, and she asked me if the dog was friendly. They pet him and we ended up talking for a little while. As we said bye, I told her it was nice talking to her and I told her my name and she said same and told me hers. She seemed like a REALLY nice person and I somehow got stuck with her on my mind, a lot. I've seen her a couple of times since then, but she was always in her car leaving. She smiled when she saw me and the last time she was driving by, she smiled (and I mean smiled) and she waved to me. She did open-close hand wave... by the way does that mean anything different?
Anyway, I walk by her house daily since that's my dog's route (it's been like that before I met her). I hope to randomly run into her again as she's leaving for work or something but our space-time curves have not synced. That's been on my mind since the day I met her whenever I go walk the dog. I know it sounds like a crush but I think she's more like a 'friend crush'. I don't have many friends and I don't often feel connection with random strangers. I felt a connection with her through the conversation, and it made me feel good that day. I would really like to get to know her. I'm not looking for anything romantic. My life is probably too complicated for that. I don't know her situation either and she's probably a bit too young for me from that standpoint. Obviously, it did cross my mind, trying to figure out what I'm feeling. Asking here what to do next, should I continue to hope to run into her and talk to her again one day, knock on her door (just kidding!), or just move on...
