If my crush fucks another guy before I ask her out I don't care. She owes me nothing before I make a move. If I don't want her to do that, I ask her out before that happens. I missed out on two girlfriends because of waiting (although one wasn't in my control, I was going to ask her out, but my coma prevented that).

No, because I don't fuck people I am not dating. I wasn't my girlfriend's first choice, mainly because I was 13 when she was 18. I aim. to be her final choice. I want to be the one she picks and keeps. To me that's most important.

Let me give you an example. I have a crush on a friend (she knows and likes me a bit too). Neither of us act on it. We are both happily in a relationship with someone else. The feelings of attraction are still there though. If we both break up, we might end up dating and may end up getting married. I won't be mad that she picked someone else before me, and neither will she be. We didn't know that the relationship would fail until it did. It wasn't like we picked someone else because we didn't like each other, we just were single and found more than one person attractive.

When I am single, I will be interested in pursuing a relationship with multiple people. I don't know if any will last. Whomsoever I date first isn't necessarily the one I like best. The friend and my girlfriend were both literally a coin flip for me. I liked them both, and for different reasons. The one I picked was just more assertive in her attraction towards me.
