Dominance isn't equivalent to abuse. Gender roles and partner dynamics aren't that interdependent either. So whyyyy, why do you think feminist=dominant woman?
PS. Many dominant men are feminist or are against misogynistic practices lmao.

I don’t assume that. I live in a pretty progressive city and I’ve met all kinds of people, not all feminists are dominant/ aggressive. They might seem aggressive/ passionate when the topic is about something political but that’s kind of it.
Dominant women can be republican or even in the middle. I personally have no problems being friends with dominant men or women because im a laid back person by default. As long as they stay in their lane , I stay in mine. Cross into my lane, I turn into the biggest prick in the world just for you , that’s one toxic trait I have 🤣
Thanks for mho
Good point.
Thanks for the MHO.

I don't know. What do you mean by dominant woman? In what case? What if suddenly I ask you how can you explain a relationship where dominant woman have a relationship with a dominant man?
I'm over terms like feminist as such.
If you have problem, speak.
If you want to win something, fight for it.
If you want fairness, don't be a tyrant and listen to each other.
Have the willingness to negotiate.
If no one listens, rebel. Or move away.
Doesn't matter if you're male or female.
There's no precise definition of enough empowerment.
How far you are willing to go to empower yourself?
How much empowerment you need depends on what your situation is and what you want to achieve from there.
Maybe you just want to be more powerful than everybody else.
And general non-specific, non-local, movement like feminism is a great boat you can always use to get there. There's no limit in how you can use that term to have the excuse to empower yourself.
I prefer we use humanism or something with that tone. Any male or female 'actually' need help, they need empowerment. Up to where they can get up by themself, out from their former toxic environment.
Nah. Not all two dominant people can't be in a relationship.
One thing that one can notice from being and observing dominant people, they are not always dominant.
What they should be called is two people who have the tendency to be dominant. They have to manage the dynamic in a way that supports the relationship. If one or both of them unable to or unwilling, that's when the relationship can't be.
If a person always want to be the dominant in everything, that's what I call tyrannical.
Feminism is about equality between the sexes in social, economic and political matters. This benefits everyone as why should one sex (men) have priority in decisions?
As a semi-dominant woman , this is a personal and relationship preference. I am not attracted to absolutely submissive men but I respect their submissiveness. My husband is slightly submissive in our private relationship but more dominant in public and that’s how we both like it.
I’m not sure if I am explaining it right but there is a difference between being dominant and feminism.
Dominant or just one of those whiney bitches complaining about the patriarchy and how their such victims almost always and all the time? Nothing dominant about a petulant victim... just saying.
They may feel dominant because they don't take shit from men... even though most men don't even try to talk to them and she spends more time with her cats and/or small dogs. They'd still get slapped into a different universe though if they pull that shit with the wrong man. Facts don't care about her stupid feelings.
Most people don't see it that way.
Women who are shrill, are always complaining about anything and everything, spin every scenario in a way that they find "sexism" and "misogyny" in almost everything they see... those are the ones who are seen as feminists. Having a dominant personality has nothing to do with that.
Women who treat everyone, regardless of their gender, with the same respect with which they want to be treated are not seen as feminists. They can do that and be dominant, submissive or anything in between.
I don't think that's true. A woman can have a dominant personality but still have healthy attitudes toward men and relationships, treat men with kindness and respect, and not play the victim. Those are the things that distinguish normal women from feminists, not being dominant. I work with some women who are definitely dominant but they don't exhibit the negative attitudes and behaviors that are rightly associated with today's feminists, and I'm pretty sure no one thinks of them as feminists. I don't.
Good opinion, bro.
@AssholeNumberOne Thanks bro.
I don't see them all as feminist. There's probably plenty that are not but like to dominate in the bedroom. Kind of like being the opposite of who you really are. It's a turn on for them. "This really isn't me, but I love doing this at times."
If they take it too far then it's not equal. Feminism is supposed to be having the same rights and privledges as men.
When it comes to "my way or the highway" which is the norm around the US at least, it's kind of nuts. A relationship is 50/50.
Because I think that the men who say that are men who want to be the dominant one in the relationship. Or people who are not used to people disagreeing with them. But it's not true, just because we're dominant doesn't mean that we look down on you or think we're better. We take the lead, but we still love you and want to take care of you, wanting the best for us.
I don't think that that suspicion will come from submissive men.
Nobody I know thinks a feminist is dominant, quite the opposite actually.
Dominant women are more associated with tomboys than anything.
Simply because we aren't subservient and submissive.
Both @Agape93 & @jennz6 have summed this up in it's entirety.
It’s a misconception because men are the dominant feminist and blame women
I know, right? I'm a masculinist, and like to be dominant. wanting to be dominant is a human thing, not gendered.
Often dominant woman liek to humiliateman because they kick off as a revange for man *treating woman badly*.
Many non-feminist women don’t look like dominating women. It would seem ironic to see a dominating woman as a non-feminist.
Cuz how it seems they c an make a guy do what ever they want
Well its similar
The real question is, can dominant men and women have sex together?
Feminism isn't equivalent to abuse either.
No idea. Not always coordinated
Oh, I see. I’m pulling weeds out front and I did hear her one time say, out in the street on the phone, something along the lines…story about family member dying, “look at me”, then went really quiet and she walked but up on porch and heard loudly, “things don’t work that way around here.
I don't equate the two.
