Do girls typically approach men in bars and clubs?

This is a discussion I’ve been having with my husband - he says that women do not approach men in these settings - but I’ve always approached men as have my friends. Can you help settle this debate.

but in my case yes, it was common for girls also approach me in these settings and for a few reasons as well not just "because"

A very small handful do. But the ones who do often end up with very happy relationships that are actually pretty even. Its like with all bets in life. Higher the risk higher the payout and or loss.

I get approached a solid amount of times each time I go out. I used to think they didn’t, but they definitely do. Maybe they’re getting more comfortable, confident, or maybe they’re noticing guys are approaching a bit less (a lot more to risk these days)
