For background i'm 27 from Portugal and i have been talking to this 24 girl from Israel for 4 months now she's a good gaming friend but we talk about life and other stuff too. Our English is not exactly perfect but we can understand each other most of the time well, even through she has some difficulty with expressing some words.
She seemed to like and trust me a lot as a friend. But recently she's avoiding me like changing status to busy/away as soon as i come online or not replying for a long time like an hour while at the same time not changing her online behavior.
So yesterday i was chatting with her on Discord while gaming like we usually do in the weekends then she texted me she had to sleep which was much earlier than she does usually and the chat goes like this:
She: I'm gonna sleep
She: I have to go tomorrow
Me: Ok but what you mean?
She: its something females cycle
At that point the first thing that came to my mind was she had to sleep earlier because she had to go to ride a bike with her female friends or something like that but she never mentioned to me that she likes riding bikes but that can also be a thing too so i asked her:
Me: You mean like bike riding and stuff?
She didn't reply for a minute so since English is not my first language and i was really not sure what she meant by that in this context i googled for clarification and the female hormonal cycle and PMS was pretty much the first and only thing that appeared so i just replied with:
Me: Ohhh that.
Then i sent her a cute goodnight gif and she replied Nighty with a moon emoji.
It just left me very confused and i got too embarrassed to ask for further clarification of what she meant since that came out nowhere and her English is not the best sometimes too.
I know this is a big wall of text but what you guys and girls think she meant by "females cycle" in this context? Could she have used the wrong words or she really meant PMS.
