I need help understanding what my lady friend just told me?

So i was chatting with a lady friend then she texted me she had to sleep and the chat goes like this:

She: I'm gonna sleep

She: I have to go tomorrow

Me: Ok but what you mean?

She: its something females cycle

English is not mine or her first language so i didn't quite understood that at first and googled to see what "females cycle" meant online so i Just replied with:

Me: Ohhh that.

Then we said goodnight to each other.

So could "Females Cycle" have a total diferent meaning in this context that im not aware and i misinterpreted what was said or It really means she just told me she's having a períod?

Yeah thanks for the reply i was Just curious If It "Females Cycle" had any other meaning too in this context or not. Do you think i should leave her alone in the coming days or still talk to her normally and support her? Because im not sure why she disclosed that now but she hás been kinda off last few days and It seemed like she was avoiding me sometimes. I don't want to ruin the friendship by saying or doing the wrong think.
