Why does everyone think I like my female friend?

They say that when a girl is being friendly guys assume that she's flirting, but yet they say that when a guy is being friendly it is because he has feelings for her, why is the same thing (being friendly) interpreted as the guy always liking the girls. People are such hypocrites
