Girls, About girls period?

I had date with my coworker yesterday. We had great time, confessed to each other and we even kissed at the end, she texted me that she had great time. However, today in work she seemed to be keeping distance to me and kinda acted like a stranger. She never responed my text or call after work too.. She did tell me she feel very tired, and I know she’s on her period. Can girls be like this after we had such great time one day before? I am concerend.

Not sure you know she is on her period. That isn't something I announce to the world, and only those closest to me can detect a change in my mood for the most part. At least, that is what I think.

Periods can be awful. Some girls have it so bad it is almost a debilitating pain. I have known girls (a friend) that have actually had to take prescription pain killers it is so bad for her.

That doesn't sound like what is going on with your date, but I am just trying to explain how bad it CAN be. She could have mood swings very easily. My best advice to you is to just let her dictate things.

If she isn't interested in talking at work because she just wants to get through the day to get home to her heating pad, leave her be. It is nothing against you.

@iljinwoo2011 Those are some extreme examples, but it can be for some girls. Mine were quite awful when I was younger. Birth control helped sort that out a lot.

It is going to vary greatly between girls. Some have relatively little pain but big mood swings. Others don't have much in the way of swings but other issues. I would say the vast majority of us just feel like crap is the best way of putting it.

You are right. I overthink a lot, and I was scared about sudden atmosphere change. I was very concerned!

When girls have their menstruation, their hormones cause havoc not only in the body but also in their behavior. You could almost compare it with cancer in an advanced stage.

For a great number of women, the pain can be excruciating and last for several days. Yes, some girls will react the same way this person does and all YOU can do is to be supportive and understanding.

The best thing you can do is to leave her alone for that time and not to try to bug her or to make silly jokes about it because honestly, I don't think you would take it as stoically as she does.

Yes. Perfectly natural. She’s distancing herself if she isn’t feeling perfectly well. Especially if your relationship is new.
