Girls, Why would a girl somewhat avoid a guy for no reason?

This girl and I have spoken before. She and I mainly talk when the 2 of us are alone. She then will stand in the group conversation I'm in but not talk to me. I noticed she will stand with her feet angled towards me with her dominant foot placed forward towards me. I saw she was lunging forward on that dominant leg towards me. It was almost like she was bending her knee towards me whilst standing. What is going on? She seems to avoid me a little too, but then will still say goodbye to me. But she sometimes acts like she is not interested.

Ever since I stopped to help her after she fell off her bike. Now she is talking to me a little more. Plus I feel closer with her, as the moment I walked into a crowded room; she and I looked at each other and naturally started talking

What do you think is going on? Even when we where going out on the boat for training. We had to put life jackets on as workplace health and safety. She came over without even me asking helped me put on the life jacket
