The best advice *I* have learned about women, is to not listen to them regarding anything with male affairs or dating. And no, women don't want emotional soy men. Women don't even want masculine manly men opening up to them in any kind of way. The MINUTE a man opens up to a woman emotionally, she either deems him to be a soy bitch or an angry incel.

So once again, proving my point, (most) women are pointless to listen to for male problems or dating advice. Depends on the specific woman I guess. I have a friend who broke it off with her boyfriend because he refused to emotionally open up to her and was too cold and closed off. Now she's dating who people might characterize as feminine but they seem super happy together.
