Empathetic toward men is a loaded term. I think women (and all people really) should be empathetic toward everyone.

If empathy is just good manners, then wouldn't a lack of empathy be considered bad manners? And if traditional femininity is associated with grace, kindness, and good manners, wouldn’t that mean that a traditionally feminine woman would, by definition, be empathetic toward men?
