Like women here have already clarified, it depends on how frequent the use is and how cheap the product is. It usually damages actor's skin bc most actors need to be careful even in public, so they wear mascara and shit, bc paparazzi loves their spontaneous snaps. And cheap products are usually the worst ones, have major, major side-effects.

Which products? It depends what you’re using. A lot of women care and go for the best items that don’t cause any issues, some people might go for the cheaper things that do cause problems because they can’t afford other things and there’s a huge pressure to look a certain way. When you can’t physically see consequences I guess you can’t pretend they don’t exist

The US, being US, is really active in checking products for any harmful ingredients used. The other countries are not like that.
The cosmetic companies use the cheap harmful products in their products in other countries, and hence the question.

I guess it depends on how often you use these products and how cheap they are. There are cosmetic products that aren't harmful because of the type of substances they contain. It all comes down to what you choose.
